The Importance of Failing Fast

I can't remember who or where I heard it, but back in the mid-2010s I learned about the phrase "Fail Fast." The concept is simple: the more mistakes you make, the more you learn... but with painted flames on a Cadillac to make it go faster.Â
(It's science. Trust me, bro.)
Dumb jokes aside, the faster you fail at something, the faster you'll rise from the ashes with insights you probably wouldn't have gained with standard, run-of-the-mill training. Just like a muscle endures micro-tears from lifting weights, your brain gets bigger (not literally!) from "breaking shit" and allowing yourself to fumble.
I've made a litany of mistakes these last few months on my eCommerce / CPG learning journey... much to the (assumed) frustration of important stakeholders. In that same vein, this is literally the most I've ever learned about performance marketing - and I've only become a stronger marketer because of it.
Now get out there and go break some shit!
